Abrilita resides in San Francisco's Bay Area and holds her own show, 'Motown Mamis' on Hella Groove Radio every Thursday evening. In company with her show, Abrilita runs Motown Mami - a Soul archive page which features female Soul from the late 60's and 70's. In her own words, " this mix was inspired by some of the ladies I've featured on my page but mostly it's a tribute to Suavecito Souldies - a monthly Soul dance night in Oakland that I miss greatly! So, I hope this mix encourages some romance and a 2-step! "
