Conveying his story through sound, Kourosh Dehghani aka Ensoul explores interrelated soundscapes of Dub, Trip-Hop, Ambient and Neofolk. Basing himself out of Toronto, Ensoul previously worked at Play De Record, one of the city’s oldest and finest record stores. Building on that experience, the search for inspiring samples, records, cassettes and CD’s has become a centre piece of his daily life. Come evening, Ensoul throws down Pillow Talk - a monthly night run alongside Akash Bansal aka Tender Buttons.
